MEET THE TEAM: MISS NIKITA

Hi - I’m Nikita!

I’m a dedicated swim instructor from the UK who specialises in working with babies, toddlers, and beginner swimmers! I have a calm, encouraging approach and have a deep love for the water. My goal is to help every swimmer (and their parents!) build trust, confidence, and comfort from their very first lesson with me!

As someone who is Autistic and has ADHD, I also bring a personal perspective to my teaching. My own neurodivergence helps me tune in to kids who might process the world a little differently. I understand how important it is to be patient, clear, and adaptable… especially in a sensory-rich environment like the pool! Whether I’m guiding a baby through their first lesson or cheering on a nervous toddler as they take their first independent paddle, I bring warmth, empathy, and a balance of structure and fun to every lesson.

My journey to the pool hasn’t been a typical one! With a degree in theatre and a flair for performance, I spent years entertaining audiences: as a singer, a character performer at events, and even bringing a bit of magic to pubs and restaurants. That background gave me strong storytelling skills, a playful spirit, and a natural sense of presence, all of which now flow into my teaching… especially when I’m working with little swimmers!

Outside the pool, you might find me upside down….literally. I’m passionate about aerial arts, which perfectly complements my strength, balance, and love of movement. Whether I’m on a silk, a stage, or in the sea, I bring my whole heart to everything I do.
